2014 Job search

I'm going to use this as my time while I do my job and career search. Every year since 2010 I've been able to find enough contract work to just 'get by'. This year...2014...I've almost had NO work at all! In fact...all I had was one week at a place in Frederick. It was at a manufacturing plant. I quit. It was part time...but, I still had to go everyday. It was a bad drive for that. Plus, the plant was in a bad industrial area. I tried to talk a walk around the area and didn't even feel safe. I didn't like the 'feel'...Lastly, the people did nothing to make me feel welcome or treat me well. I think that is VERY important. So, I do not feel bad or wrong for quitting there at all. That said...the only other job I tried to do was part time at a call center here in Greeley. I lasted a day and a half in training. Once again...just a horrible place to work. The atmosphere was awful..the people were awful. When I told the HR guy I couldn't continue with the training...he gave me the dirtiest look and stormed off! Stay classy Greeley! OK..clearly I'm not looking in or at the right jobs for me!!
